ISAs, Statement of Votes & Annual Meeting
By legislation, registered political parties can sign an Information Sharing Agreement (ISA) with the Chief Electoral Officer and receive voter information from the Register of Voters. Under the terms of those ISAs, the agreements expire six months after the last day of voting for a general election, or April 28, 2025.
This means that before my office can provide continued voter information updates to parties, we must have a new ISA signed. If your party is interested in signing an ISA, or if you would like more information, please reach out to Jennifer Colin, Deputy CEO, at jennifer.colin@elections.sk.ca and she will be able to assist you.
The Statement of Votes, Volume I in A Report on the Thirtieth General Election, was tabled in the Legislative Assembly earlier this morning.
The Statement of Votes provides analysis on last October’s election, including voter turnout numbers, candidate information and details on the various modifications to legislative authorized through CEO Directive. This volume also includes poll by poll results, which I know you will be interested in. To assist you with your work, I have attached a CSV file of these poll-by-poll results, which is also available on our website.
I will send a hard copy of Volume I to you shortly. In the meantime, you can find a PDF version on this page: https://www.elections.sk.ca/reports-data/reports-publications/.
Our annual meeting between Elections Saskatchewan and representatives from the province’s registered political parties is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10 at the Grotto Restaurant in Vibank.
We are still confirming a few last-minute details, but I expect to be able to share an agenda with you early next week. I hope that in advance of the meeting you can think back to you and your party’s experience during the election and come prepared to ask questions and share lessons learned.
Dr. Michael Boda
Chief Electoral Officer
Province of Saskatchewan
