June 2, 2025 – Elections Saskatchewan today released a publication, A Report on the Thirtieth General Election, Volume 1, Statement of Votes. This is the first of four volumes to be released over the next year following last October’s provincial election.

This report provides an overview of the election, including analysis of voter turnout, data on registered political parties, candidates, and elected members. The Statement of Votes also includes a breakdown of results by polling divisions in all 61 constituencies and summary data of the official voting results.

“More people voted in Saskatchewan’s 2024 election than in any provincial election since 1991,” says Dr. Michael Boda, Chief Electoral Officer of Saskatchewan. “A total of 471,087 people voted either by mail, in-person, or by special ballot. This is an increase of more than 26,000 voters from 2020, and 36,000 more than 2016.

“This past election featured several improvements designed to make voting easier, quicker, and more accessible, with the goal of reducing barriers to participation and broadening voter access. This was accomplished through the continued modernization of the province’s system for administering voting, a multi-phase, multi-election plan that has been underway for a decade.

“Through this detailed reporting, we aim to shine a light on all aspects of the electoral system to equip legislators, registered political parties, and other stakeholders in strengthening our democratic system that will serve our province for decades to come.”

The Statement of Votes is online here in small and large files. A CSV Excel file of the poll-by-poll results is also available at the above link.

Work is underway on the three remaining volumes in this series:

  • Volume II. Administrative Overview
    • Scheduled for release in summer 2025
  • Volume III. Statement of Expenditures
    • Scheduled for release in spring 2026
  • Volume IV. Legislative Change Recommendations
    • Scheduled for release in fall 2025

According to The Legislative Assembly Act, 2007, provincial elections occur every four years on the last Monday in October, unless there is a delay caused by a federal election call. Therefore, Saskatchewan’s 31st General Election is set to occur on October 30, 2028.
